Helping women become self-sustained with proper jobs and skills.
Women Empowerment is a core value of Himwant Foundation and our awareness programs, training, and skill development programs help reach this goal.
Getting a good education is a fundamental right that empowers individuals to reach their full potential and contribute meaningfully to their communities. Education opens doors to opportunities, promotes critical thinking, and fosters independence. Unfortunately, many women around the world still face barriers such as poverty, discrimination, and limited access to resources, preventing them from pursuing their dreams and improving their circumstances.
Our organization is dedicated to helping women who have limited access to educational opportunities. We provide support through scholarships, mentorship programs, skill-building workshops, and community outreach initiatives designed to break down the social and economic barriers that keep women from learning. By offering both academic and practical education, we aim to equip women with the knowledge, confidence, and skills they need to succeed in various fields. We believe that empowering women through education creates a ripple effect that benefits their families, communities, and the broader society.
In many parts of the world, women continue to face significant challenges in accessing quality healthcare. Limited medical facilities, lack of financial resources, and inadequate awareness about health issues often prevent women from receiving the care they need. This leads to preventable illnesses, complications during pregnancy and childbirth, and poor overall well-being. Cultural and social barriers can also discourage women from seeking medical help or prioritizing their own health. Addressing these issues is essential to ensuring that every woman has the right and opportunity to live a healthy, dignified life.
Our organization is deeply committed to improving healthcare services for women and promoting health awareness at all levels. We work to provide accessible and affordable healthcare through medical camps, community health programs, and partnerships with local clinics.
True empowerment begins with awareness. Many women are unaware of their potential, rights, and the opportunities available to them due to social and cultural limitations. Creating awareness helps women recognize their own strength and value, giving them the confidence to pursue education, careers, and personal growth. When women understand that they are capable of shaping their own futures.
Our goal is to inspire and guide women toward realizing their capabilities and achieving independence. Through workshops, training programs, and community initiatives, we help women gain the skills, knowledge, and confidence needed to secure good jobs, access quality healthcare, and build a respected social status. By spreading awareness and promoting self-belief, we aim to create a society where every woman can lead a meaningful, empowered, and fulfilling life.
At Himwant Foundation, we are dedicated to supporting women, especially those who are divorced or come from underprivileged backgrounds, in finding stable employment that allows them to live with dignity and independence. We believe that financial stability is a key step toward empowerment, and through our job placement and training programs, we help women build confidence and reclaim control over their lives. By connecting them with meaningful work opportunities, we ensure they can provide for themselves and their families while gaining a renewed sense of purpose and self-worth.
In addition to providing employment, we focus on creating jobs that contribute to environmental sustainability. Women at Himwant Foundation are trained in eco-friendly and skill-based professions such as sustainable handicrafts, organic farming, and recycling initiatives.
Traditionally, deities’ poshaak and chunri are made from synthetic fabrics like polyester, which are often used only once for religious purposes. After use, these fabrics are considered holy waste and are usually immersed in rivers as part of ritual practices. However, since synthetic materials are non-biodegradable and contain harmful dyes and chemicals, they contribute significantly to water pollution. This not only affects the cleanliness of our sacred rivers but also harms aquatic life and disrupts the natural ecosystem of our waterways.
To address this growing environmental concern, we are promoting the use of pure cotton fabric for making deities’ clothes and Mata Rani chunri. Cotton is biodegradable, eco-friendly, and can be reused or repurposed without causing harm to nature. We combine faith with responsibility, inspiring communities to adopt greener practices that honor both spirituality and nature.
At our foundation, we are committed to sustainability and compassion through every initiative we undertake. That’s why we use only pure cotton fabric to make poshaak and Mata Rani chunri. Unlike synthetic materials, cotton is soft, biodegradable, and durable, making it a responsible choice for both the environment and the community. Once these sacred fabrics have served their religious purpose, they can be easily cleaned and repurposed rather than being discarded or immersed in rivers, which helps reduce pollution and protect our natural resources.
This not only promotes environmental conservation but also spreads kindness and care to those who require it most. Through this initiative, we bring together faith, sustainability, and humanity—honoring devotion while extending its blessings to society.
